Travel time to your destination is calculated hourly, similar to how community information services provide timely updates on local resources.
Providing tailored education to teams, stakeholders, parent communication training, AAC, and other areas of practice as requested. In person or telehealth presentations can be designed on request. Certificates of attendance and learning hours can be provided upon request.
Delivery of education seminars can be conducted either face to face or via telepractice, catering to various community information services needs.
A general guide for education seminars suggests that approximately 3 hours of preparation time is needed for every 1 hour seminar.
When provided on telepractice, participants receive a copy of the education seminars.
Group therapy services run as needed to meet the needs of our community. Please contact us if you are interested in participating in a group therapy approach.
Information for caregivers interested in accessing community information services about the Hanen™ It Takes Two to Talk or More Than Words programs. Costs for these education seminars are distributed between participants. Hanen programs require a parental commitment to attend group training workshops for a period of 13 weeks. Additionally, NDIS, Medicare, and Private Health can be utilised per session to help offset speech therapy costs.
Our community information services offer peer sessions for both kids and adults, with a focus on education seminars and support. The hourly rate for these sessions is split evenly among participants.

We can provide free information and guidance via email for community members about child development, NDIS, Medicare, other funding options, changes to government programs/policies, and advocacy opportunities throughout the year at local community hubs. Group speech and language screenings are available at community daycare and kindergarten centres upon request, along with community information services to assist families. Additionally, pure tone hearing screening (screener only) is offered for children over 4.
Drop-in sessions are held in community spaces throughout the Sunshine Coast and Hinterlands.
Types of reports include assessment summary reports, including but not limited to: NDIS progress reports, Work-cover assessment reports, mealtime management plans, resource development and letters of recommendation. Please contact us for an estimate if you are unsure about what you need.
A general guide to work from includes the following: A simple 3-5 page assessment report, which typically takes approximately 1.5-2 hours. Comprehensive assessment reports that include goals, recommendations, funding amounts, and more take around 3-5 hours to complete. Additionally, simple resources like visuals can take between 0.5 and 2 hours to prepare.
